# Pricing and cost

How to score MMP pricing: published rate cards, free plans that do not expire, list price at your install volume and whether fraud protection costs extra.

**Short answer**

Score pricing on four things: whether the vendor publishes prices at all, whether the free plan expires, the list price at your own monthly installs, and whether fraud protection is included or sold as an add-on. Then ask for the all-in cost at twice your volume.

## What does MMP pricing mean in an evaluation?

MMP pricing is the full monthly cost of measurement at your install volume, including the rate card, any platform fee or minimum, and the features sold as add-ons.

**Billable event:** the unit a vendor charges for. Most MMPs bill per attributed install or per "conversion"; some bill per data point, per custom event or per monthly active user, which makes rate cards hard to compare directly.

## Why does published pricing matter?

A published rate card lets you model cost before the first sales call and spot a price change when it happens. Of the nine MMPs on this site, Linkrunner, Singular, Kochava, Airbridge and Tenjin publish prices, AppsFlyer and AppMetrica publish part of theirs, and Adjust and Branch publish no prices beyond a free plan or trial.

No published price is not a fail on its own. It does mean you need a written quote, and you cannot check later whether the price you pay matches everyone else's.

## Free plan or free trial?

A free plan lets you measure for as long as you stay under its limit. A trial ends on a date. The difference matters for small apps and for evaluations that run past a month:

- **No expiry:** Linkrunner (25k installs, one-time allowance), Kochava (10k conversions a month), Tenjin (2k conversions a month), Singular (15k paid conversions) and AppMetrica (installs free, billed on custom events).
- **First year only:** AppsFlyer (12k conversions) and Adjust (1.5k conversions a month).
- **Trial only:** Branch and Airbridge.

Check what the free plan leaves out. AppsFlyer's free Zero plan has had no deferred deep linking, branded domains or raw data exports since 15 Sep 2026.

## How is price at your volume scored?

The scorecard takes your monthly installs and works out each vendor's list price from its published rate card:

- **Yes:** within 25% (or $50) of the cheapest published price at that volume.
- **Partly:** within twice the cheapest (or $250 above it).
- **No:** more than that.
- **Not published:** the vendor quotes only at that volume.

At 50k installs a month, for example, Linkrunner's list price is about $500, Tenjin's L plan $700, Singular about $2,500 and AppsFlyer about $3,500, while Adjust, Branch, Kochava (above 33k), Airbridge and AppMetrica need a quote. List prices ignore free allowances and negotiated discounts, so treat the result as a starting point for the quote, not the final bill. Our sister site keeps a list of [the costs that rarely appear on a rate card](https://mmppricewatch.com/blog/mmp-hidden-costs/).

## Is fraud protection included?

Fraud protection stops you paying for, and optimising towards, fake installs. It is included on every plan at Linkrunner, Singular, Kochava and Tenjin. It is a paid add-on at Adjust and AppMetrica, and it sits on a higher plan at AppsFlyer (advanced fraud), Branch (Essentials and up) and Airbridge (Growth only). Linkrunner's [pricing page](https://linkrunner.io/pricing?utm_source=mmpscorecard&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=criteria-pricing) lists fraud protection alongside unlimited seats and no export fees on every tier.

## What should you ask vendors?

### Published pricing

1. Send your full rate card for our expected monthly volume, including every tier above it.
2. Is the rate graduated (each tier billed separately) or volume-based (one rate for the whole month)?
3. Which events count as billable: attributed installs only, organic installs, re-attributions or re-engagements?

### Free plan

1. What does the free plan include, and does it expire after a period or a number of installs?
2. Which features switch off when we move from the free plan to a paid one, or when the free allowance runs out?

### Low price at your volume

1. What is the all-in monthly cost at our current volume and at twice that volume?
2. Is there a minimum annual commitment, prepayment or platform fee on top of the per-install rate?
3. Are price changes locked for the contract term, and how much notice do you give before a change?

### Fraud protection included

1. Which fraud types do you detect (click spam, click injection, SDK spoofing, device farms), and on which plan?
2. Are installs flagged as fraud excluded from our bill and withheld from ad network postbacks?

The [full RFP template](https://mmpscorecard.com/mmp-rfp-template/) has every question in one list.

## Questions

**Which MMPs publish their prices?**

Linkrunner, Singular, Kochava, Airbridge and Tenjin publish prices; AppsFlyer publishes its Growth rate of $0.07 per conversion and AppMetrica its event overage. Adjust and Branch publish no prices beyond their free plan or trial.

**Is the cheapest MMP always the best choice?**

No. Price is one requirement among several, and a vendor that is cheap at 10k installs can be expensive at 200k, or may not publish a price at all at that volume. Weight price against the needs that would cost you more if they were missing.

**Why does the scorecard use list prices?**

List prices are the only figures every buyer can check. Negotiated discounts, free allowances and annual commitments change the final bill, so ask each vendor for an all-in quote at your volume.

**What is an MMP scorecard?**

An MMP scorecard is a weighted list of requirements used to compare mobile measurement partners. Each vendor is marked yes, partly, no or not published on each requirement from its own published facts, and the weights decide the final score.

**What questions should I ask MMP vendors in an RFP?**

Ask about the all-in cost at your volume, which plan each feature sits on, raw data exports, SKAN 4 support, deferred deep linking, seats, security certifications and support response times. The MMP RFP template on this site has the full list, free to copy.

**What does Not published mean on this site?**

It means the vendor's own pricing page, docs or trust centre did not state the fact when it was checked. It is not a no: the scorecard shows it as a question mark and adds it to your RFP questions.
